As a clean energy innovator with a bold vision for a net-zero future, Oriden Power wanted more than just a stylish office. They needed a space that reflected their purpose. A space where both employees and visitors could instantly understand what Oriden Power is all about.

We love challenges like this — especially when a client gives us the creative freedom to dream big. Together, we set out to design something bold and meaningful: an environment that honored Oriden’s roots, celebrated its sustainability mission, and encouraged collaboration.

Here’s where we started -with a basic office that was uninspiring and screaming for design!

The Challenge

Oriden’s team is based in Pittsburgh, hundreds of miles from our studio, so the project meant coordinating with local fabricators and managing every detail remotely. Clear communication was key, from measurements to materials, because when multiple trades are involved, even the most minor oversight can ripple through the whole process. At Red Rocket Studios, we know that large-scale installations aren’t just about filling a wall; they require dedication to precision, creative storytelling, and seamless execution.

Our Solution: Two Installations, One Unifying Vision

Red Rocket Studios delivered two large-scale, nature-inspired installations that didn’t just decorate the space; they told Oriden’s story. The result? A workplace that reflects innovation, sustainability, and collaboration, and a space that brings everyone closer to their mission.  

Collaboration Area – A Zen-Inspired Feature Wall 

In the collaboration area, we aimed for calm and focus. Drawing on Japanese landscapes to honor Oriden’s heritage, we brought in genuine wood cladding, bamboo plants, earthy tones, and sweeping nature imagery. 

The 351” x 109” feature wall also concealed a video monitor, which played a custom animated screensaver that extended the artwork right onto the screen. Red Rocket included this detail to minimize the visual “tech interrupt” and to keep the meditative feel intact.  

Open Team Area – A Collaborative Puzzle Wall 

For the open workspace, the goal was energy and interaction. We carried over the wood cladding for cohesion, then introduced a 3D puzzle wall with a playful nod to the Oriden team’s love of problem-solving. 

Each puzzle piece had a dry-erase surface, inviting employees to sign, doodle, or add pops of color. The 306” x 109” wall also doubled as a divider, creating privacy for a built-in meeting booth while keeping the space open and visually connected.
