THE
CHALLENGE
With only 12 weeks to execute, Red Rocket Studios went above and beyond to deliver a show-stopping booth experience for Siemens. From concept to design to installation, Siemens CES’ booth exceeded their expectations, showcasing them as a tech titan leading with innovations that improve how we live, work and play in everyday life.
THE SOLUTION
To create a multi-component immersive booth that would highlight three customer stories that are pushing the boundaries of space exploration and sustainability:
Space Perspective, the world’s first carbon-neutral, luxury spaceflight experience company, is developing space tourism vehicles to send civilian adventurers into space. The company is using Siemens Xcelerator portfolio to simulate prototypes and accelerate product development.
Nemo’s Garden is an eco-friendly underwater farm that is exploring the viability of submerged “greenhouses.” Using Siemens Xcelerator portfolio, the start-up is deploying digital twins to enable rapid design iteration.
80 Acres Farms converts urban spaces into ultra-efficient, vertical farms using 100% renewable energy. Siemens hardware and software solutions, from intelligent facility and energy management systems to advanced industrial automation, are helping the company scale.
THE
RESULTS
360° Immersive Theater Experience – Combining realistic 3D visuals and LED video floor, RRS created an immersive demo of Space Perspective’s flight. The LED video floor allowed guests to see earth from 100,000 feet above, with a spectacular sunrise cascading over Earth’s horizon as the “voyage” reaches peak altitude.
Interactive Virtual Reality Experience – To highlight Nemo’s Garden, a second theater was created using a 16-foot curved LED wall and virtual reality (VR) headset. RRS developed a virtual replica of Nemo’s Garden’s submerged biospheres. While one user wore the VR headset and explored the undersea environment, other guests watched the experience as it was mirrored on the LED wall. The space was also designed to allow for a press event and presentations.
Custom Touchscreen Presentation – To showcase 80 Acres Farm, the touchscreen presentation allowed users to explore the various components of 80 Acres Farm’s vertical farming system, providing insight into how Siemens is helping to optimize processes through their entire value chain.
Pyramid Projection Screen – Atop the entire Siemens Digital Industries Software booth at CES 2023, Red Rocket Studios created a massive 24-foot, 4-sided projection pyramid screen. The attention-grabbing projection displayed branded videos and messaging to entice attendees to the booth. Visible from every angle on the show floor, the pyramid screen rose above the other exhibits, standing out in the crowded sea of flashy displays.
