In the summer of 2020, in the midst of unprecedented global disruption, Siemens USA CEO Barbara Humpton introduced her podcast, The Optimistic Outlook. She pledged to share her optimistic outlook, along with the unique perspectives of her high-level guests to focus on topics ranging from transformation and infrastructure to glocalization and leadership. Humpton shared her wisdom that, “The greatest gift we can give our teams and our organizations is the ability to optimize for change.”

After 40 episodes, recorded primarily in her home office, Siemens USA invited Red Rocket Studios to manage production of the podcast. The Optimistic Outlook took an exciting new twist when Humpton was given the opportunity to interview CEO of Siemens AG Roland Busch in person during Siemens’ 2023 Innovation Leadership Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona.
